This is even more important with homeowners coming through lead generation due to the nature of the consumer (web based) and their affinity for electronic communication and their desire to be pursued (as opposed to reaching out to the contractor themselves). In addition to the general statistics and success of text messaging, I also share some inspiring data from our internal Lead Verification department that further solidifies why you must take action immediately to utilize the power of text messaging. Since incorporating text messaging into our internal process, we have seen drastic increases in contact rates, appointments for our clients, and most importantly closed jobs. Based on the statistics and data I can confidently say that regardless of what lead generation service you are using, text messaging will increase your rate of contact, conversion to appointment, and return on your investment. For the clients that have a link to their website or scheduling app where a homeowner can schedule an estimate without speaking with the home improvement company first, we have included this link in the text messages we send. As you can see from the metrics and stats above, there is no reason that any home improvement or home services business should delay even one second to incorporate and make text messaging a valuable part of their process. As I share on the video, there are options to help automate the texting process, but even if you are manually sending the texts, you will see the benefit and increase in the ROI from lead generation.
