If you have been following this blog, you are likely already aware of the importance speed plays into your results from leads (and customer inquiries in general). No business owner purposely avoids actions to make money, but the number of home improvement contracting companies that fail to respond with speed is astonishing. I recently was introduced to a company, Valve+Meter who conducted a case study of the response time from close to 500 home services companies across the country. The data they compiled is astonishing and disturbing at the same time. I typically do not direct people to outside sources, but this case study was too valuable not to share. You can read the results here. Don’t say I didn’t warn you; the findings are shocking! The impact calling your leads quickly will have on your success as a home improvement pro are tough to quantify. However the amount of additional revenue you generate will be quite simple to calculate.
